These rural areas are located about fifty kilometers south the city of Siena and have become a symbol of the Italian landscape, comprising such characteristic elements that are considered aesthetically perfect locations for outdoor photography. After checking in at our hotel and resting for a few hours, we will head straight out to photograph our first sunset.

Over the next few days, we’ll take radial excursions off our “camp base” to the countryside or towns; there are plenty exciting spots to photograph under any weather and condition.

We’ll explore the most hidden and iconic places in the Val d’Orcia and Crete Senesi, looking for out the amazing diversity of landscapes that this region offers.

Green rolling hills, cypress avenues, dramatic and romantic skies, white gravel roads, old villas, farms, solitary trees and medieval villages rich in history and culture await you. And, of course, the delicious local cuisine and excellent wines.

The colors and surreal spring tones make this time of year the most special for photographing the sinuosity of the hills and the magic of these outdoors.

During this photo tour we’ll also focus on architectural photography, exploring hidden spots in San Quirico d’Orcia, Pienza, Montalcino and Bagno Vignoni.

Golden mists, illuminated by the warm light of dawn, envelop the countryside and allow glimpses of the landscape in the distance. The soft lights of sunset paint the top of the hills, olive groves and vineyards in golden light, offering impactful scenes in every direction.

In our last sunrise in Tuscany, we’ll spend our early morning session at Belvedere, the most famous vantage point of the area. After breakfast, we pack our bags and slowly leave for Florence. We will drop you off at the Florence Airport in the afternoon.
